Last year, we maintained a commitment to continue Onward through challenges that once seemed impossible. Together, we've moved forward and now, it's time to celebrate the HIGH NOTES of the important work we've done and continue to do.

Elevated Wishes
Vital Life’s Elevated Wishes program brings a senior’s most deeply cherished dream to life, a partnership between Vital Life and Wish of a Lifetime. An Elevated Wish reconnects loved ones, fulfills lifelong dreams, commemorates service or renews and celebrates passions. When Quean, a resident at a local senior care facility, was provided the opportunity to share her wishes and dreams, she shared that her wish above anything else was to have a covered wagon experience.

Spirit of '45
Through our partnership with Dream Flights, a VLF Charitable Partner, senior veterans received the ride of a lifetime during VLF's Spirit of '45 celebrations. Over 50 seniors took flight in either a Boeing Stearman bi-plane or a fully restored vintage Douglas DC-3. The joyful day kicked off with a ceremony that honored the multiple generations of service members in the audience and the crowd that gathered honored the service of those who served in the military.

Scale the Strat
Vital Volunteers scaled the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, NV—all 108 floors of it! Back at it and proud to race up the steps for a good cause after a pause in participation due to COVID precautions. Across the nation, the American Lung Associations stair-climb events raise money and awareness in the fight against lung disease, and the Vital Life team has made supporting this event and fundraiser an important tradition. They embraced the challenge and helped the American Lung Association surpass their goal of $230,000 by $2,304.02.

Wish of a Lifetime
Wish of a Lifetime fosters respect and appreciation for deserving seniors by helping them fulfill their life-enriching Wishes. In 2022, Vital Life and Wish of a Lifetime partnered again to source, and grant wishes for seniors. A seniors wish to ballroom dance again was granted after not getting to experience the joy that dancing once brought her in years. In 2022 we were given the opportunity to grant two wishes and currently have several more in the making; stay tuned and follow along as more wishes are granted!

Ronald McDonald House Charities
During the holidays, the Vital Life Foundation encourages employees to help provide hope and comfort by supporting our charitable partners. Ronald McDonald House Charities was recently the recipient of such kindness when our staff participated in the annual RMHC Holiday Toy Drive. When families have a sick child, RMHC provides them safe spaces, comforting meals, moments of joy and everything in between, all completely free of charge, so they can feel at home while their children are treated in local hospitals.

During the holidays, the organization sets up a toy shop for families to do their holiday gift shopping free of charge.
